2 AXIS MOVEABLE HEAD  –  The 210 degree articulating head that rotates 360 degrees enables you to direct light exactly where you want it and you can alter illuminated area without moving the torch.

INTRINSICALLY SAFE  –  Class I and II, Division 1

MAGNET AND CLIP  –  A magnet with 61kg pull strength and a rear clip are fitted to provide attachment

REGULATED OUTPUT INTENSITY  –  All batteries start to lose voltage from switch on. However most professional torches, including these, have electronics that increase the current as the voltage reduces so that the light output remains as level as possible for as long as possible. At the end of this period the light output drops off rapidly. This effectively increases the runtime of “usable” light for all applications. Without this, the runtime for usable light would be determined by your application at the time and could vary dramatically. The runtime without this facility would always be longer but not as effective.

LIGHT SOURCE  –  One C4 LED impervious to shock and with a 50,000 hour lifetime.

2 METRE DROP TEST  –  This has been passed as part of the ANSI FL1 testing requirements. Caution – if dropped on their end, alkaline torches may fail to operate but this will be from damaged batteries not a damaged torch. The momentum energy of the batteries when they hit may cause the battery nipple to be moved back and the negative end dinted, resulting in intermittent contact.

RUGGED CASE  –  Housing, base and battery housing made from high impact super tough nylon providing exceptional durability. All openings are O-ring sealed for weather resistance. Circular rare-earth magnet surrounded by durable nickel plated steel housing. One way valve for case venting.
